DATES: January 23-27 – 4 nights of camping; leave Sunday morning Jan 27th.

Springs RV resort has a heated pool, bocce, shuffleboard, tennis, & corn hole. No cable TV. https://www.rvresorts.com/the-springs.html Call 352-236-5250 to make your OWN reservations. Our rally rate is $43.65/night. Full hookups, 30 amp, some 50 amp. Pay on arrival at the campground. There is NO refund, only credit at the Springs RV Resort campground. Extra nights same price as rally. Mention SETFC when making reservations. There are several handicap sites available (aisle A), however they are not near the rally group located in aisles H, I, & J.
SETFC dues of $5 should be included with your rally payment. Reservations DUE by 12/25
Wednesday – Registration. Dinner at the Chinese Buffet (included).
Thursday – Carriage Tour at Kimberden Farm, a premiere hunter & jumper training facility, as well as the University of Florida Hunt Seat Equestrian Team. Our carriage tour will include a tour of the horse facilities, feeding the horses, and box lunch. Approx 16 miles from campground at 5400 NW 110th Ave, Ocala. Price will be $40/person. Friday morning – Appleton Museum of Art is devoted to European paintings, sculptures and decorative arts; 18th/19th century American paintings; religious and secular works from China, India, Japan, and Tibet; DuBois’s African art collection; Islamic ceramic art crafted between the 10th and 14th centuries in Persia; and pre-Columbian collection of Mexico and Central America. Friday afternoon -Tour of Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing. Cost is $10/person. Tour takes about 3 hours and includes many antique cars. Opened in 1976, the museum chronicles the history of the sport of drag racing. Some 90 racing cars can be seen in the building and 50 more in the antique car building. Saturday morning breakfast (5 items) provided by Campground. Cost is $2.50/person. Extra items are $0.75/each. Pay at the buffet line. Bring small bills and change.
Saturday evening – Dinner at the campground catered by Sonny’s BBQ. SETFC business meeting will follow.
Dinners are included in rally price for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings; box lunch on Thursday is included; All other meals, on your own.

Visit the Silver Springs State Park – Glass bottom boat ride, Silver River Museum, hiking trails. Admission to park is $2; extended boat ride (90 minutes) is $20 for seniors http://www.silversprings.com/

For the HORSEY SET… HITS Post Time Farm is located in Ocala, Florida at the heart of Florida’s horse country and boasts 450 rolling acres. The property includes 27 permanent barns, 540 permanent stalls and many turn-out options. In 2013, the Ocala Horse Properties Stadium was built, giving HITS Ocala a new stateof-the-art competition ring. The Ocala Winter Festival II is Jan 22-27, 2019. No admission charge. Canoe/Kayak trip – Saturday
Myron and Dorcas Whitley will lead a paddling trip at Silver Springs State Park. Bring your own boat or rent one at the park. We will put in at the canoe launch at the park and paddle on the Silver River, Fort King Waterway and the Silver Springs pool. Paddlers can make the trip as long or as short as they wish, and return to the canoe launch at any time.

There is a $2 per person entry fee to the park, and a $4 per vessel launch fee for personal watercraft.

Canoe or Tandem Kayak:
– Hourly Rate: $20 for one hour, $30 for two hours, Full Day rental for $45.
– Clear Bottom Kayak – New! Clear bottom tandem Kayaks $30 for one hour, $40 for two hours.
